A full-length play:

After losing his wife to the pandemic, formerly buttoned-up Sam is coming undone. An alarming incident finally pushes his friends and family to intervene, issuing an ultimatum: get away for a few days to confront whatever is keeping him stuck.

The result is a silent retreat at a Trappist monastery, where there are no phones, no TV, no Wi-Fi—just one mocking bar of cell service daring him to slip back into the life he insists he controls. Add in a collection of quirky (and occasionally menacing) monks, plus a fellow retreatant on her own journey of renewal, and you have the recipe for a tender comedy about grief, healing, and answering the question: does moving forward mean leaving old loves behind?

Parting Gifts © 2026

A full-length play:

Visiting his late mother-in-law’s gravesite, newlywed Howie receives a startling parting gift: his own tombstone. As he grapples with a new appreciation of mortality, he finds himself caught in the tempting clutches of a charismatic monument saleswoman (and Beyond this Life Coach) urging him to add more "flash to his dash." With an expanded vision of his potential, Howie must decide if a meaningful life is found in the journey or if a shortcut to the destination provides what he is looking for.

A 15-minute play:

A young man returns to his grandfather’s farmhouse to share some hard news that will affect both of their futures and learns that the past they shared may not have been everything that he thought it was.

Namesake (2024)

Shoot (2024)

A 20-minute play:

In one of the last corners of the globe where independent professional wrestling still (barely) survives, we find Striking Steve Stone (the “boys” call him “Trey”) making good on a promise he made to his father before he passed away.  Trey is visiting Bluegrass Championship Wrestling (BCW) before he makes his way to the big time of New York City. Here, he meets Mikey (a young woman that once saw BCW as her way out of the small town), Lance (the owner and TV announcer of BCW), and “Roughneck” (the current BCW TV Champion who worked with Trey’s dad, Dewey Stone, back in the day). Maybe the visiting “Baby Face” can offer all of them a way out?

There’s always an angle and everyone’s part heel in a world where only the cunning can survive.

Herb’s Adjustment (2024)

A 10-minute play:

A man in pain, seeking relief for his hurting back, finds himself in the middle of a tug of war between his two well-meaning neighbors, the “quack” chiropractor that lives on one side and the “drug pusher” family practice doc that lives on the other.
